New guidance published to combat trafficking
CFAB welcomes the publication of new guidance on referring children into the National Referral Mechanism, including advice on completing the referral form, information around reasonable grounds tests, reviews of decisions and the benefits of referral. It is vital that social workers refer all children they suspect may have been trafficked into the NRM. Trafficking is a hidden form of child abuse and is presently under identified.
