Double Your Donation with the Big Give Christmas Challenge

From the 2nd December to the 9th December, every donation to CFAB through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will be doubled. That means one gift from you will have twice the impact.

Every Child Deserves a Safe and Loving Family
In England and Wales, there are 90,000 children in the care system. Thousands have family members overseas, but they are being overlooked.

Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB) is the only UK charity dedicated to reuniting children with their families across international borders. With a global reach spanning over 130 countries, we work tirelessly to reunite children with family who can offer them the love, stability and sense of belonging they deserve.

Our Goal: 20,000 Children Protected by 2030
To mark our 70thanniversary, this year we launched a bold five-year campaign to support 20,000 children. We are on a mission to raise £5 million by 2030—because every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe and loving family. To achieve this ambitious milestone, we need your help. Please take this rare opportunity to double your donation and help protect children.

With your support, we will:
- Expand our worldwide network of child protection partners, to reunite more children with family.
- Secure the future of our expert Child Protection Team to meet rising demand and increasingly complex cases.
- Strengthen our voice and advocacy to change systems for the better.

We know how to solve this problem. Your gift makes it possible.

Isabella’s Story
Each year CFAB, has a life-changing impact on the children we help. One of those children is Isabella.

Isabella entered care at just eight months old, after she was found living in a caravan with no access to water, heating or toilets. Her mother struggled with mental health difficulties and had a long history of substance misuse. Her father was also unable to care for her.

Isabella was kept safe in a foster home, but her long-term future was uncertain. The council social workers knew that Isabella had a grandmother, Andrea, who lived in Chile.

We used our international network to assess Marian’s ability to care for Isabella and found that Andrea would be a stable and loving caregiver who could offer Isabella a nurturing home. We also gathered information on Andrea’s local area and community, which confirmed that the town would provide a safe and promising childhood for Isabella.

Isabella is now living in Chile in the loving care of her grandmother, connected to her family’s cultural identity. Our work gave social workers the confidence and clarity needed to make this life-defining decision for Isabella’s care. Without our support, Isabella and Andrea may never have been united.

Your Support is Vital
Right now, CFAB can't meet the increasing demand for our expertise. A matched donation from you today would help us to protect more children like Isabella and reunite them with their family members overseas.

Double your donation. Double your impact.
