Today, there are 90,000 children in the care system in England and Wales. Over a third of them have family members overseas who could provide them with a safe and loving home but too often they are overlooked. Every child deserves their right to a family.

Too many children and families are forgotten by the system—we make sure they are not. Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB)is the only UK charity dedicated to reuniting children with their families across international borders. Our work is complex but life changing.

With a global reach spanning over 130 countries, we work to reunite children with family overseas who would otherwise remain in an over-stretched and under-funded care system.

To mark our 70th anniversary, we are launching a bold five-year campaign to raise £5 million in order to protect 20,000 children—ensuring they are safe, supported, and, where possible, reunited with their families.

We are on a mission to raise £5 million by 2030—because every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe and loving family. With your support, we will:

·      Expand our worldwide network of child protection partners, to reunite more children with family.

·      Secure the future of our Child Protection Team to respond to growing demand and increasingly complex cases.

·      Amplify Our Voice and boost our advocacy work to drive systemic change, share expertise, and reach more children in need.
